My vote for his most masterful performance from that list is him getting put on his ass by a way past prime Barrera and somehow winning the round.

Prime Morales, Barrera and Hamed all beat the **** out of Marquez

        1. 1st Pac fight.

That's he's opportunity in getting out of Erick and Mab's shadows and he didnt lose. That's he's biggest accomplishment imo.

        2. Juan Diaz fight.

The fight with Casamayor really surprised me. I expected him to have trouble with Casa and I wasn't sure about the outcome because I rank Casa so highly.

I couldn't believe when he actually stopped him. The fact that Chico couldn't stop him but JMM did said a lot about JMM's punching power.

The Medina win was probably JMM's most impressive and dominant. But going the distance with Pacquiao after three knockdowns and a badly broken nose proved that he belongs with the all time greats.

You guys are right. With Pacquiao now fighting at full fledged WW it makes the JMM fights look even better in hindsight.

That Medina fight was vicious. JMM was such a stone cold assassin back then.

                    The list includes:
(My rating next to fight on a scale from 1 to 5.)

                    JMM/Pac 1 (5)
                    JMM/Casamayor (4.25)
                    JMM/Diaz (5)
                    JMM/Pac 2 (4.50)
                    JMM/Mayweather (4)
                    JMM/Barrera (4.25)
                    JMM/Jaendeng (4.75)
                    JMM/Juarez (5)
                    JMM/Jaca (4.75)

All these fights are interesting because of JMM's technical skill alone, but every one of them has different variables in age, in weight and in approach that make them absolutely unique.

I won't include a poll because I prefer this be an in depth discussion if possible.

                    Please discuss.
do not really know....BUT Juan Manuel Marquez is a great fighter in my opinion
