The entire swarm seems to be uneasy because they arent sure if they want to paint Shane Mosley as an unstoppable World-Beater, or an old geezer(if Floyd accepts).

That is an accurate statement. If Mayweather doesn't fight Mosely then they will say how Mosley is the best welterweight next to Pac and Floyd ducked him but if Mayweather accepts and wins then Mosley is an old man past his prime.

Thats a cop out argument. In 2006, the general consensus was that the smaller guys could never do better than the heavyweights. They thought Trinidad/DLH 1.4 million was the pinnacle and that Tysons 2 million vs Lewis and Holyfield could never be topped. Wrong!

Mayweather/DLH changed the ppv landscape and shattered Tysons best by a half a million. Weight doesnt matter, and Pacquiao should be thanking De Lahoya and Mayweather for bringing the lower weights to prominence.
