Luevano has faced and beaten better competition than Gamboa, and bringing up Holyfield is just plain ******.

The almighty Terdsak Jandeang after JMM ruined him. Luevano is a feather fisted puncher with slower hands than Juan Ma which is exactly what John is. John almost got KOd by Juarez and he got a gift against JMM. He aint what a lot of people think he is. I'd give Lopez more credit if he fought Cab. But if a John-Lopez fight crowns a Ring champ, I'm all for it. I just don't think Lopez should be ranked that high from just beating one fighter.

John schooled Juarez twice, although he did fade badly in both fights and was hurt late in both. I thought John beat Marquez.

Just bums like Sugar Ray Robinson, Roberto Duran, Goerge Foreman, and Manny Pacquiao.

Only name that really stands out is Marcos Badillo

But seriously speaking he has beaten Cristobal Cruz who is featherweight WBC champion, and Nicky Cook, an ex-superfeatherweight WBO champion.

Cruz has about 20 losses. Who is Nicky Cook?

Eleven Actually, But he recently beat Julio who had only been beaten by Manny Pacquiao so no doubt he is a live opponent.

Nicky Cook was champion at a weight where Juanma nor Gamboa havent been yet (or at least not against good opposition, and became a champion) problem is he made the mistake of fighting a puerto rican and thus got owned in his own country. Still he was a big fighter and Luevano not only beat him, he koed him. Why do you think Luevano was ranked below only Chris John? Because of fighting bums?
