Not only will he be feeling the punches he would have less stamina for that fight. And a possibility that JMM may walk through his punches.
As great of a boxer i think Marquez is, Mayweather's style is what made that fight so one-sided. Marquez is a great counterpuncher when he's in exchanges, that's why he stayed on the ropes against Diaz and why he's still such a tough fight for Pac. Mayweather was able to keep Marquez on the end of his punches and as hard as Marquez would push(and he landed some solid shots), Mayweather was using his speed and defense to outbox Marquez. Marquez was a solid win, once Marquez comes back against a new opponent, most will remember just how good he is.

wait wait wait...so if Marquez was 2 lbs less then his body punches would have affected Mayweather?

      lol

Oscar weighed 160lbs when he fought Mayweather and his body punches HAD NO AFFECT on Mayweather but Marquez's would @140lbs?

This video is the reason why Bob Arum kept canceling the fight. Pacquiao was hit flush more times in the 2nd Marquez match than Maywether was his entire career.

Mayweather is basically (excuse the expression)Marquez on steroids, which is why Manny wants to Juice to even the playing field.

Marquez is drained at 144+ and thats what the rematch would likley be at, i dont think they can make 135 again or what ever them fights were at so the rematch would be different lol

I know some will say "Manny has improved since the 2nd Marquez fight in 2008" ....BUT how can we know this is fact if he hasnt fought a RIGHT HAND DOMINANT fighter since Marquez???

                    Marquez-Pacquiao 1 in 2004

                    Total Punches

                    Marquez 158/547 =29%

                    Pacquiao 148/639 = 23%

                    Power Punches

                    Marquez 122/339 =36%

                    Pacquiao 100/231 =43%

                    Marquez-Pacquiao 2 in 2008

                    Total Punches

                    Marquez 172/511 =34%

                    Pacquiao 157/619 = 25%

                    Power Punches

                    Marquez 130/310 =42%

                    Pacquiao 114/305 =37%

#'s dont lie....in both fights Pac was literally outboxed besides the knockdowns.......and this was from a RIGHT HAND COUNTER PUNCHER.....
                    indeed numbers dont lie..
                    KD = 10 - 8 round
                    3 KDs in one round = 10 - 6 round

with that said, marquez's style really did give pac a lot of trouble but, he didnt fight prime pac who has improved A LOT since the second fight. so the result of a 3rd fight is all hypothetical, but the fact is.. he never beat pac and pac got even better.

They have all been right handed. But I see you mean a fighter where their right hand being there main power hand, so I understand! Tho I dont think Marquez has come on since their fight like pac has. with that said I feel he's still have problems with his style but still win by a bit more convincing UD. I would pay to see it again thats for sure!
