Well Marquez had 2 fights @135 and only had to gain 7lbs....all these guys making it seem like he moved up from 130 and had to weight 147lbs are dweebs!

IMO Floyd would have whooped Marquez at anyweight....Floyd never stepped out of 2nd gear in their fight.

Because Marquez can come up weighting around 136-138lbs at Jr WW to maintain his speed and reflexes as to fighting at WW he has to weigh around 141 and above where he is slow and sluggish.

if manny's shown one thing under freddy, its his ability to learn new tactics and adjust his style.
using amir khan, who's becoming more of a counter-puncher under roach given his chin and prior penchant for recklessness, as a chief sparring partner could certainly help manny learn how to deal with the straight right, whether his opponent is leading or countering with it.

excellent point, would help against Clottey but Mayweather can lead or counter with a straight right with excellent timing, most likely when Pac will be coming forward i.e Hatton.

If Floyd had fought marquez at 140lbs Floyd would have felt JMM's body punches. PBF would have faced a faster more stamina and stronger Marquez.

Not only will he be feeling the punches he would have less stamina for that fight. And a possibility that JMM may walk through his punches.
