Forget the Cruserweight tournament. Lets have a 14l0lbs tournament. Its a deep division with great talent wherever you look, Currently Id say that Timothy Bradley is the best 140 pounder out there

You really think Erdei would come to America to fight Dawson? Why would he do that? He'd make more money fighting bums and preserving his undefeated record in Germany than coming to America to get beat up by Dawson for pennies.

If Erdei wanted to fight bums in Europe he would have tried to get ranked by the WBO which was his old belt and currently has a Euro champ. Instead he opted to get ranked by the WBC which lines him up for the Dawson-Pascal winner.

And yes I do think that Erdei would love to come to the US to fight Dawson, he doesn't even make that much money in Europe. He is Hungarian and fights out of Germany. He was forced out of his old title by his own promotor because he wasn't as popular with the German people as Braehmer is.

However, I don't think Dawson would fight Erdei even if he was his mandatory because it would be more risk than fighting a guy like Tavoris Cloud and it would come with a lot less reward.

Sauerland has the most cruiserweights inside the Top20 (Huck, Hernandez, Frenkel) so it's just normal that they would go with this division...Frenkel could really emerge as the star out of such a tournament...

I like Frenkel a lot. He's a world class prospect. I'm quite sure that he won't participate in such a tournament though.

Kalle Sauerland said the following about Andre Ward which would have been the same for Frenkel I think: "These kind of tourneys are for established fighters. Had I been Dan Goosen I would have let Ward enter the super six. Now I do know that he defeated Kessler, but if a fighter aged 25 gets 2 solid beatings his career might already be over. It's to big a risk."

I think they should do tourneys in all the divisions. Take the 4 champs form each division, and the top 4 #1 contenders in each division and have it out....

I disagree, if it came down to Erdei and Cloud, Dawson would fight Erdei. Dawson already vacated the IBF strap to avoid Cloud because Cloud is a nobody right now.

Cruiserweight is one of the worst division and part of the reason people love the Super Six is because it's a mix of Americans and a mix of Euros. If they do this it will not even come close to the publicity of the guys at 168 have stirred up. Super six has legit P4P fighter while most of the guys at cruiserweight are club fighters.
