Pacquiao just started using his right hand and he didn't even
have enough power to put JMM out at 130 who has a durable
chin but Castillo had a beast beard back then with good power.
JMM couldn't have slugged it out with Castillo if he got dropped
by Pacquiao 4 times in 2 fights. Castillo pre Floyd would
have whupped both Manny and JMM.

Well, truth be told, the WW division is not full of great opponents nowadays. It was much better two, three years ago.
And it's an unfair comparison at WW between Pac and Margarito. One was there for much longer. Both with fight, no doubt, but to compare them on the merits of one weight class doesn't cut it.
Really comparing fighter resumes is a moot point, I would much rather comment on a fighter's individidual resume and ask the question Janet asked all those years ago..."what have you done for me lately?" -- Hear that floyd?

Not true. From the beginning Team Pacroid predicted negotiating with Floyd would be a nightmare then when Floyd gave them everything they wanted he messed up their plan so they had to think of another way to get out of the fight. They never wanted to fight PBF from the beginning.

I do agree with you with the negativity on the Pac side even before they were ngotiating.

People really need to understand that both are at fault here. Both lost because of failing to reach a compromise. Their reasons are purely egotistical. There is no ducking done whatsoever. Both are posturing again for re-negotiations.

Mayweather seems to have several defensive strategies and techniques, once you see how and when he employs them, he can be countered and set up like he set people up. Like that lead right and duck left thing he does after walking backwards leading people into the punch. Anticipate the punch and counter with the left hook and lean throwing over his right and he will already be on his way to leaning to his left and will be knocked off balance, likely a kd. Step to your right, blocking the left of your face and throw a counter uppercut as he is ducking into it, Manny is fast enough to get away with it too.

A promoter needs an assurance a fight will take place a month or more before a fight in order for him to spend $10 to $20 millions in promotions. So now we know the real reason why the fight fell through. Roach needed time to come up with a strategy to fight Mayweather. There's just one problem, there is no foolproof method to fight Floyd. It has been proven that the only way to give Floyd a hard time is to try to turn the fight in to a brawl. If Manny try's to box from the outside he will get destroyed.
