Copenhagen - Mikkel Kessler presented his new gym to the media today when he hosted an open training session in Copenhagen. The Viking Warrior cannot wait to get back in the ring and become world champion again. The 30-year-old will meet WBC Champion Carl Froch in the second round of the Super Six World Boxing Classic, and Kessler is already looking forward to it. “I really had a bad night against Andre Ward, but I had a good rest, analysed everything with my team and now I am ready for Froch,” he said. “I have just started my preparation with my new coach Jimmy Montoya. Things have been going really well. We are training very hard here in Copenhagen and will move camp to Berlin next week. I feel very hungry without a world title and I will take the WBC belt from Froch.” [Click Here To Read More]

I think this is going to be a closer fight than everybody thinks. Froch may take this one, he only has trouble with fast slick boxers and doesnt seem to be able to cut the ring off fast enough to lets he hands go.
But as Kessler is neither as fast or slick as Froch's last two opponants that could work to Froch's advantage as he has the much stronger frame & punching power + Kessler will prob come and trade alot more.
I do hope Froch has tightened his defence as this is his major down fall, which kessler could exploit like Taylor did on many occassions.

I hope Kessler wins but Froch just keeps beating my guys. damn him.
at least we have the belt on the line. I love the idea of those 2 belts possibly going back and forth during this tourney.Comment
