This guy was/is brilliant, was one of the best pound for pound fighters, great skills, defence, some great wins, never afraid to take on the best. There is a new interview with him on that place to the east, if you get me.

Props to Winky for a great run but somehow he could have done better have he been managed well. But somehow, I cannot help but think that oversized looking gloves is a brilliant defensive tactic.

Wink is the man, great fighter that feared no-one and had a great defense, very underrated but most avoided. I can only imagine what he would of been if he had KO power.

I agree with you. One of the minuses of the peek a boo style is that it takes a bit of power off your punches when the hands are thrown from the high hands position. that is the trade off for having that kind of defense.

yeah man. I agree. I'm trying to search for parallels, maybe Jmm. But Jmm in his last few fights have been somewhat aggressive and initiated some exchanges.
