Pocket change you say. Arum didn't have to give anything. He does this sort of thing all the time. He is a very charitable man. By the time everything is paid, in the fund will come to over a million, and if it's, say, $1.6 mill or so, I wouldn't be surprised sif he rounds it off to $2 mill.

Federer raised money from other people, this fund is directly out of Arum's own pocket.... Apart from Berto, who comes from there, and who lost relatives, I haven't seen any other boxing figures donating yet.

Just a couple of days ago, Arum donated about $ 40.000 for some boxing charity.

Those daily updates is the reason why pacquiao is such a big star, unlike mayweather who uses his unshuttable mouth. Anyways, $1 for every ticket sold? thats too low, make it $5. Well I guess arum just wants the money.

Can you dudes do math? It's a dollar for every ticket sold this year. If you add up every event they do throughout the year its well over 100k. Who knows, Pac himself might sell over a 100k in tickets.

Most of you guys complaining havnt donated anything. Has NFL or MLB donated anything? This money is coming straight from his pocket, show respect.

Arum already made a personal 1million dollar donation to the fund.

Plus we're talkin about 1dollar from every ticket from every top rank even the entire year of 2010. Meaning not just megafights where they make a buttload of money but also from smaller venues with much more affordable tickets.

boxing fans should forget about the most-awaited fight of the century, the pacman-chicken floyd fight because it will never happen for two reasons. consider these:
1) if pacman losses to clottey, the fight will not happen for obvious reason. chicken floyd, as he always boasted, will only fight the "best".
2) if pacman defeats clottey, chicken floyd will have more excuses not to fight pacman, again for obvious reason: pacman would be too much for him and he will get ko'd.

either way, the pacman-chicken floyd fight will never happen.

Pac has never faced a black fighter and i think has a stigma about that . I also believe arum and roach fears mayweather. Thats why they said in the begining of neog that wasn't enough time to prepare for mayweather. But we shall see. Mayweather all the way.

Also mayweather is alot bigger than clottey and has a longer reach. And faster than shane and pac.and has great defensive skills. Do your research.
