2 losses does not = "finished"

De La Hoya fought decent fights after losing to Hopkins, Mosely, Trinidad. He wasn't finished.

You may say "well Cotto got beat up pretty bad." But Malignaggi got pretty beat up against Cotto and Hatton, yet he is a light weight champion who has a shot at a big money fight with Hatton or Marquez (eventhough he doesn't deserve it).

Castillo almost looked like he was going to die in the ring from brain damage against Corrales, yet he comes back and fights again and wins.

Israel Vazquez... Hearns... Morales... Vinnie Paz.... Arguello.... They have all been in wars and lost some. They fought on though.

Try to be a little more objective man. It is not all about discounting Pacquiao wins. It is about knowing what you are talking about.

Also i wasn't saying it to discount Pacs win......i'm just saying as of today the Migeul cotto that existed before Marg, Pac and Clottey is gone.....

Clottey has never really been defeated. He just defested himself. (hand... Fatigue, head butt). He is a good fight.

Margarito may have used hand wraps in that fight.

He really only got beat by Pacquiao who is the best fighter today.

I can't say for certain that he is a different fighter.

Look at Corrales's TKO of Castillo. Watch that round again. It is scarier then anything I have seen Cotto go through. After that... Look at who Castillo fought after.

I can give you many examples that can put question to this theory that "once you get knocked, your shot" theory.

Floyd don't do catchweight? wasn't his fight with Marquez catchweight @ 144 lbs then his cheat ass came in 146 lbs over the limit weight?.. go look the **** up first!
wtf am i talking about? dlh manny fought at a catch wt of 144LBS they fought at the ww level which is 147. most of manny's fight happen at a catch wt thats why i discount some of his victory's.roach has already said if pac fights shane it will be at a catch wt of 142. tell roach to stop protecting his fighter if pac is so good stop wt draining other fighters.floyd fought marquez at 146 within the ww limit of 147.hey dont get mad at me because arum and roach have a history of cheating and wt draining fighters to stop pac from getting ko'd like he's been by dudesat 106. but now he can take hits from ww and walk right through them? are you sure pacvs clottey is a no catch wt bout. or once again are you blindly following roach and arum

Cotto took a brutal beating at the hands of Magarito. Did you see how many unanswered punches he took before he took a knee?

Pacquiao has not fought any top fighters on their way up in their respective weight class since the MarquezII fight . If you need to refresh your memory that was the fight in which Pacquiao wore shades to the post fight conference.

Fights after the Marquez Boxing lesson:
Diaz- straight ahead southpaw. Lowest rated Lightweight Champ at time.Blah!
DLH - weight drained guy who hadn't fought at WW in over 8 years. Please!
Hatton - PBF asswhipping by KO. Placed a big 1 under loss column. Blah!
Cotto - catchweight with faded fighter that took brutal beating and was not the same. Blah!

Bottomline is that these fighters were all either straight ahead, weight drained or faded on their way down fighters that had taken a serious beating within a couple of fights before fighting Pacquiao.

Pacquiao might be the best fighter when fighting against straight ahead fighters, but he has not proven to be very good against puncher/boxers that can move side to side. Too much style picking in my opinion. Team Pacquiao has proven adept at picking favorable fights that suit Pacquiao's style.

Mayweather jr also, all he has to do is sign the contract and they can fight.

Why ask for so many things? why is he so afraid of PAC.

He said Pac only need to do is step up to the plate!!! And what happened after that. Oh you need to do this... and that.... blah blah blah WTF!!!!

floyd AGREED to ALL pacs far out demands.pac refused to agree to one and only 1 of floyds demands. why is pac so afraid to get tested. why is pac so afraid of pbf? and if they truly wanted to fight pbf,why did they negotiate at the same time with clottey? who is really afraid of who.pbf had no problem getting tested.pac did.

LOL-by the way-people were saying Morales,Oscar,Hatton and Cotto were shot BEFORE Pacquiao faced them...kinda weird that YOU think they were in their primes...

It is funny, because people really do forget how Manny was searching for any fighter (even Malignaggi-who people are giving grief to Floyd for looking at as an opponent to stay busy) instead of negotiating with Floyd. You only have to look at who signed a fight first to realize that Manny ran from the fight with Floyd-Floyd is now just starting to sign with a valid opponent who would bash Clottey....I would be surprised to see Manny fight Floyd, yet I will not be surprised to see Manny take a fight with Mosely ONLY after Floyd fights him and beats him.....

you probably wont get too much debate on that one.but i for one disagree. taking nothing from the original sugar. i give the title of greatest to jack johnson simply because he did in fact dominate his era. and 99% of the live gate wanted to kill him after each fight. he carried ungodly sums of money after each fight upwards of 25k cash. and the only thing that did kill him was one of his fast cars. but, i wont argue with sugar being called the goat he sometimes fought bi-wkly and monthly. he had one heck of a work rate
