Post the article where Mayweather and Margarito were in active talks.

Arum made an Offer, but there was no negotiation involved and Mayweather then proceeded to buy out his contract.

Mayweather never planned on fighting him and never made a motion to start active talks.

You are either confused or flatout to dumb to understand the difference.

There was never an negotiation between them... Arum at the time was still Floyds promoter... so he and him talked about fights... and Margarito was one possibility... but there was never an contract on anything... or something...

It's the same if Pacquiao sits down with his promoter and he tells him you got Mosley, Cotto and Clottey for this and that... that doesn't mean it's an negotiation dude

Mayweather was never in negotiations though, he was just running his mouth, no contract talks were ever made for that fight, Mayweather just ran his mouth and then next thing you know, they were side by side at pac/morales 2 like it never happened.

60-40 for Mayweather and sign the damn fight!
