              He was so bad when he retired.... I hope the time away recharged his batteries, but I'm guessing this will be roughly as sucessful and Vargas' proposed comeback, haha.

                      What made Erik great was his punch, his combinations, and his chin. His punch won't be anywhere near as effective fighting at 140/147, it might get him through against a lower tier guy but no way will it trouble a decent calibre guy at those weights, his chin has been worn down by two knockout losses as well as plenty of accumulative punishment, plus it won't carry up to 140/147, and he doesn't have the split second instinct to get off and land combinations anymore. Plus his legs will have nothing beneath them, they were gone a long time ago.

                      This comeback will end in a humiliating knockout loss, I can almost guarantee that. It will be better for him if he loses to this guy in March, because if he can get by him and a few others he will undoubtedly step the level of comp up, get put in with a serious LWW/WW with some good ability, and get thrown around and bashed.
