This whole sorry episode was instigated 100% by Floyds camp. It started before manny had even got out of the ring,when we were treated to the vomit inducing sight of Floyd Snr's sweaty face (HATE!) running to the first available tv camera and calling manny a cheat. If floyd really had a problem with the steroids issue,then it should have been kept at the negotiating table and kept confidential,but no, they had to whore the story all over the press before they even sat down to negotiate. Its perfectly obvious that if they had acted correctly and with some dignity,then the fight would have been made.

no it wouldn't have, that demand was written in the original contract and Floyd has stood by his demand, it only blew up due to Pacquiao's refusal, by him refusing the fight doesn't get made and as we follow the progress and see what's going on and begin to demand it becomes huge, we still ONLY want it because of Pacquiao, we don't have this fight signed because of Pacquiao's refusal

Whats he gonna do now? If this fight doesnt happen,and he is waiting for pac,then he isnt going to have a leg to stand on as far as asking for tests go. Manny can turn round and tell him to go f.uck himself,leaving Floyd yet again without a fight and without a pay day,meanwhile Pac stays busy and his star continues to rise.

If the Mosley fight doesnt happen,then Floyds position starts to look very shaky indeed. The public wont buy Hatton,Malignaggi,Cintron or even Cotto as credible opponents,and why should they? They got guys like Pacquiao,Mosley,Williams and a few incredible rising talents to watch,guys that are actually fighting,chasing challenges and making their statements.

why should they? because just 2-3 years ago those fights were the ones we wanted. if Floyd is going to take a sub par fight against someone he may as well make it a stay busy fight on regular HBO against a contender. no one is denying that Shane is a hard opponent but Boxing is all about timing in and out of the ring, Shane turned Floyd down twice due to bad timing in his own career and if it makes more sense for Floyd to take a stay busy fight against a tough and durable opponent I'm all for it, if it's better for him to stay on the sidelines and preserve himself for the fight he wants most I'm all for that too. you can't think like YOU would think because you're not a fighter and if you are most likely you're being promoted

he doesn't need to do ****, Bob Arum isn't a fighter so Floyd doesn't have to worry about anything Bob Arum has to say. all the Welterweights who aren't Golden Boy and are in the top 10 are mainly from Top Rank, it'll be easy for those guys to fight each other because Bob Arum is going to just let his guys kill each other for him to fatten his pockets only to go promote the next one, of course though this is the part of Boxing we are NOT involved in, you can't chronicle the last few years and break down every single big fight stipulation, some of you don't even know if there are rematch clauses, why? because that's not your job, you can't speak on that because when it's BUSINESS it's about the parties involved..
