Actually, there has been a lot of hype for Gamboa for a while now...

When I used to post regular, people were raving over him. I went off and watched some of his early fights on Youtube and was impressed. The first time I watched him live was the Jiminez fight, he didn't look as impressive in that fight and lost a few band wagoners... But it's not like everyone thought he was **** before Mtagwa...

i can't lie...i watched that card for the specific purpose of gamboa...that was actually the first time i've seen juanma fight...i promptly updated my knowledge of him afterward...but gamboa was the star attraction on that card for me...
