    Trinidad-Wright dream

This morning, when I was still more or less asleep, I was "watching" Trinidad vs. Wright. Wright was ahead as they entered the last round when all of a sudden, Trinidad landed a vicious body shot that dropped Wright and woke me up. I don't know if that is what will happen but you never know. We'll see in 8 days.

      Intelligently put.

winky >will< win the UD, he's fighting trinidad, a guy that doesn't even have much experience in the way of fighting elite boxers, and every time he's faced a truly elite boxer, he's gotten punked. trinidad will try to get winky out of there early, but it will not happen. winky is on a different skill level than trinidad, 'up a notch', if you will.

if anyone gets staggered, it'll be trinidad, by coming in with his own power shot and getting smacked mid-flight, winky's good enough to use trinidad's own leverage against him.

anyhow, it should make for a great fight, matador vs bull, my favorite type of match up.

trinidad >knows< that he can't win a UD vs winky..winky is better defensively than wilfredo benitez was, imo..of course, the god of defense, the great willie pep who won a round without throwing a single punch back in the day, will always reign as king of defensive fighting, until someone can accomplish the magic that his form of fighting was...

He lost against Hopkins, and he really lost to De la Hoya, but the judges gave him the fight. The whole world, minus Peurto Rico, agrees that De la Hoya won that fight, too. The two best fighters he's faced, that weren't old, he lost to.

As long as Winky doesn't try to stand toe-to-toe, he'll win a UD.

Winky will outbox Trinidad. Trinidad will constantly look for a left hook to the head, but Winky's right hand will always be there blocking them. Frustration for Trinidad and he will lose by decision.
