You have a poor logic !!!!!

he will not able to do the rigid training he's doing before the fight

Not because he will not recover.

He is undefeateid, bsut is he respected? The answer is quite simply, NO. The decisions of Floyd Mayweather Jr over time have cost him. They have cost both his legacy, and more recently they have cost him financially. Why anyone would throw 40 million dollars in the trash can over some blood is still beyond this writers imagination.

Mayweather has made a history out of picking smaller opponents. He has not made any fans with his eagerness to flash his money around either. Is the man skilled in the ring? Yes he is. The problem is, he's never taken on anyone with enough size and talent that has earned him any respect in victory. Sure, recently Floyd came out of retirement and beat up a blown up dehydrated Juan Manuel Marquez. This defeat did nothing for his legacy. It only shored up what most people have been saying, he cherry picks smaller guys. I recently spoke with the president of USA Boxing's Southern Association, Stan Nichols. Nichols formerly held the title of Chief of Officials for the state of Mississippi. He has been in the sport of boxing for a long time. Although he's not heard of on a national level, his experience on the sport of boxing has to be respected. Nichols sparred with the great Roberto Duran many years ago down in Panama back in the 1980's. Nichols shared his thoughts on Mayweather and the decisions that he's made over the years, " Floyd has great skills, yet he has never stepped up to the big challenge. He had an opportunity to deposit perhaps over 40 million dollars in a Pacquiao fight, but chose not to. Now he has a chance to prove himself against Shane Mosley. If he ops out of this fight, it would damage an already questionable legacy." Read up on USA boxing here - http://www.usaboxing.org/

Many of Floyd's detractors have relentlessly pounded on him throughout the Pacquiao negotiations. Once the lawsuit for slander was filed against Mayweather, it was all out war between the two camps, thus killing any hopes for that fight to happen.

Floyd's next opportunity came by way of a terrible tragedy in Haiti. Shane Mosley was scheduled to fight Andre Berto but due to the earthquake in Haiti, Berto had to pull out of the fight to tend to his family. This opened up the opportunity for Floyd to step up and take on Mosley. Negotiations are ongoing, but reports are that Mayweather is balking at the talks, and is not happy with the numbers. This is a potentially lethal injection to his already shaken legacy. If Mayweather bails out of this fight against Mosley, he very well may go down as the fighter who ducked the best, and fought the rest.

made a history by picking on smaller oppoenents? you dumb fawk, only guy he fought smaller then him was marquez, hatton isn't smaller

if floyd had gone to 2 days , they would have turned it down.

the moment gbp/mayweather turned down cowboys stadium......arum already decided this fight wasn't happening.

only way it would happen is floyd forced their hand and gave them no other choice but to take it.

floyd gave them the out they were looking for.

50/50 didn't sit well with arum even though he offered it to gbp.

when they wouldn't even consider cowboys stadium and jerry jones offer , it was a slap in arum's face.

now where is pacquiao's next fight being held? which nfl owner is arum all buddy buddy with now?

if pacquiao-mayweather happens , it'll be with pac getting 55 or 60 of the purse and it will be at Cowboys stadium.

              if not.......fight won't happen.

                  yup.

even bill gates wouldn't turn down $40 mil.

the thing is though , arum and pac is ******** they can get more from floyd later.

                  1. arum is a firm believer in letting a fight simmer with the public. he doesn't like immediate rematches. hence why he wanted pac to wait before a 3rd fight with jmm.

                  2. arum is ******** that they can get better terms against floyd. 50/50 of $80 mil. is great. 60/40 of $80 mil. is even better. don't know if it'll work.

if pacquiao-clottey does good numbers and floyd fights a malignaggi level type fighter. the gamble will pay off.

pac just walked away a few months earlier. he will be in a stronger negotiating position. he can walk away again for all gbp and floyd knows.

floyd needs pac-clottey to not do well financially and/or fight his own big fight with mosley that gets numbers as well. if not......he ain't getting 50/50.

everyone might want 40 million dollars but really NOT everyone needs 40 million dollars, see the number in our eyes ....

                      40,000,000.00 Dollars = 1,800,000,000.00 Pesos

those are just too much f_ck_ng zeroes after 1,8 that freezes your brain and stop counting LOLZ
