and then the signings for these fights happened.

I was talking in general, people DO jump to conclusions on this site. My post had no relevancy to Mayweather-Mosley.

Come to think of it, if you look at the bigger picture. GBP seem to be just looking for the best time to announce the fight. But with the announcement of Pacquiao-Clottey ticket sales doing great, any early announcement for Mosley-Mayweather would lose steam and compete for boxing-fan attention which is not really a good idea specially since they'll be going head to head with HBO, Toprank and Dallas plugs for Pacquiao-Clottey in February.

I think Mayweather-Mosley will be announced late February, when marketing and promotions for Pac-Clottey start to taper off leading to the march fight. This way, both fights benefit from the hype of a winner v. winner showdown and they ride the momentum created by the Pacquiao-Clottey fight.

I think this fight gets made and will be announced late Feb.

The kick of press tour will need to start mid-feb, because of 24/7 series, I think that the fight will be officially announced at the end of this month
