Gamboa by Ko, John doesn't have the power to make Gamboa respect him.

Yes, that's what I think too...

And although John has a good defense, Gamboa is so fast he'll eventually connect.

not sure it would be a very good fight, gomboa could win it early or chris takes him in the deep waters late on in the fight and wins

To be honest i haven't seen John fight that much, but a lot of the videos i've seen, he hurts ppl when they exchange with him, he looks like he is in trouble and he pulls out a left hook out of nowhere.... What have we seen with Gamboa when he starts exchanging? Leaves himself open, right? But like i said, havent seen too much of John so i have no idea, I will root for Gamboa tho, he looked nasty last week.

I want this fight to get made, John is a monster but he gets hit a lot, Gamboa's speed will get the best of John and I have a feeling he can knock him out, Juarez had him on ***** street in both fights and Juarez is not really that much of a power puncher and has subpar speed, with that said I think John would obviously be the biggest opponent Gamboa has faced and could very well win, however I like my boy to win it by late KO, 10ish.

Its such a huge jump in competition and John is so good I dont want to pick against him.Gamboa is a monster though his athleticism is on a different level than anyone else in the division and Id pick him over anyone at FW right now.

Yeah that's one of my concerns, John and his lanky ass arms generate a lot of power and like you said Gamboa has a tendency to stay open, his best bet is to get in and out like Pac and just accumulate punishment and score a late KO as John tends to gas out.

Timing and skill beats speed everytime, John will school Gamboa. Gamboa just Konkced out Rogers Mtagwa. That really doesn't mean anything at all. The man has over a dozen losses as it is and has lost to much lesser fighters.

John only gasses out when he throws 800+ punches, he's only faded against Juarez. The championship rounds are an unknown territory for Gamboa, nobody knows how he'll do in those late rounds. If John can withstand the early rounds, he takes this fight easy.
