Maybe not Gamboa. His chin is quite poor and he is quite open to shots, so I believe fighters at higher weights could hurt him.

Maybe Lopez could potentially win titles in higher weight divisions. He can take big shots and survive rounds. Plus he is younger and doesn't rely upon his speed and reflexes as much as Gamboa does. He probably has more staying power than Gamboa. Soon after hitting the 30's Gamboa's poor defence will get checked more often when his reflexes start to slip.

None of them will do what Pacman did. But Lopez will get closer to it than Gamboa.

We will never know for sure what the future holds for this two fighters. Even the Manny that fought and won against D. Diaz would never believe that he would be fighting beyond 140lbls in the future.

        put it this way..

if pac can do it.. with so many obstacles he had to go through..

what more for those with better opportunities.

make pac one of the better examples for aspiring athletes to make them reach higher.

            i doubt it..
It depends. Pacquiao has amazingly improved when going up in weight. Including his power and chin. He has been consistent with his stamina and speed as well. If these 2 fighters want to move up and make a name, they better bring their A game all the time and fight top competitions.

Juanma I think has the better chance.

Ive never heard of a 5'5 guy going up to 135-140 and beating people. Especially with the muscle Gamboa already has can make the 126 pound easily. Lopez is 5'7 so he has a better chance.
