I'm not sure Tyson, the Klits, Pac, and or Calzaghe respectively sold that many seats.....

Obviously this fight is all about GSP. That's impressive even if its in his hometown. GSP and A. Silva need to fight after GSP destroys this chump in April.

Klits sell 60,000 seats in Germany every time they fight. So did Calzaghe. And Tyson likely did and Pacman easily could with the right venue. Seats only stop selling because there are a limited amount of them. Anything else you want to know?

          Ticket Sales

55K tickets are impressive. I saw a few blogs about boxing sells. Usually most fights take place in Vegas at smaller venues but the gate take is as much or larger than $5-10 mil for a major fight. In boxing people are willing to pay
$30K or more for tickets and VIP passes.
