Gamboa would be beaten by John, John is the best FW in the world and one of the most skilled boxers across any weight class too.

He KO's Rogers Mtagwa (26-13) and now he's on the fast track to becoming the #2 P4P in the world? Slick. Maybe he could fight Edel Ruiz next and become universally recognised as the greatest fighter the world has ever seen.

John was hurt by Rocky Juarez...Gamboa will be too fast and too strong for him and John needs to go up in weight maybe 130 he aint not fighting well at 126 now specially with Gamboa and Lopez for sure he will be stopped.

If only he was 4-6 years younger. He has the full package, offense, defense, speed, power, footwork, head movements, ect..

I'm not trying to be funny, but simply using the same logic as you.

What makes you think a 17 fight rookie could compete with a fighter like Juarez even? John is a 43-0 champion at FW with what 10 defenses?

Its typical of ppl to get over zealous after a big win, but lets be realistic, I have seen no evidence to suggest that John wouldn't be able to negate Gamboa's speed with his skill and timing.

Gamboa can become a top contender for sure, but his path is not paved still. He is still a great prospect and if he keeps on getting better and better he will be there with the top guys for sure. Let's see what the future brings to him, wish him the best.
