Foreman KO's Joe Frazier with ease. Joe Fraizer (Let's not even mention the previous win over Ali) goes on to give Ali hell. Ali TKO's Foreman when they fight.
You can say Mtagwa = Fraizer, Juanma = Ali, and Gamboa = Foreman. I'm not saying this is the case and I'm not trying to compare the careers of these ATG to these young fighters. I just want to point out how you can't use triangle theories to determine winners of upcoming fights.
Gamboa looked great against Mtagwa. This kid is something special. I think based on his style he beats Juanma. Not because of the triangle theory. However, JuanMa is no Mtagwa and for those who've seen Gamboa fight before tonight, you know he's been put down but lesser punchers than Lopez.
Lopez looked great as well. For those saying he didn't look good and he should go back to 122, that's crazy. Luevano is a really good win. A 7th round stoppage against a champion who RING ranks 2nd in his division, and a guy who's never been stopped and you're not impressed?? That's hate. Lopez was patient and he broke Steve down.
As far as Gamboa vs Lopez. I'm taking Gamboa. Like I said, not because of triangle theories, but style. His defense has gotten so much better. I think he's too big, strong, and fast for Lopez. However look for Lopez to box Gamboa. He's going to respect Gamboa's power and look to box him rather than KO him. It will be a war.
