For whatever reason, though, Gamboa seems to lose a lot of power in the later rounds. I could see him getting a spectacular KO early, but don't expect it to happen. I'm thinking Lopez will start to take over in the late rounds and get a stoppage. Gamboa leaves his hands down too much.

And I think it's ridiculous that people are saying Lopez has no one-punch knockout power anymore. He didn't even get full leverage into that uppercut that stunned Luevano. I was just waiting the whole fight for one punch to change the whole fight, and for JML to go for the stoppage after.

At one point in time this guys power was feared. Right after he got rid of Ponce De Leon, Figueroa, and Medina. (The Figueroa KO was beautiful, btw) Now you guys have all forgot?
The idea is that the fight will not go 6 or more rds because Gamboa will spark him out before then......JuanMa is not unbeatable, the phenom will show the world this and this is why JuanMa will duck him.....mark my words

I feel the same. Lopez was far too wild. You'd expect Gamboa to be that way. Side by side, it's no competition. Gamboa only gets careless when he realizes that the opponent is done. First min and a half, he was careful with a high guard and very mobile. KO under 7 rounds if they fight.

Lopez have it all. he's a very technical Fighter and a very reasonable power to put down Gamboa, On the other hand Gamboa has an awesome power if it will lands makes the opponent hards to comeback. If they will met if will be a big War i cant wait
