Lopez did well tonight, he was patient. But he looks slow for the weight, and easy to hit, for a guy like Gamboa.

Luevano fought too flat-footed as Lennox pointed out and he didn't fight like he wanted to hold on to the title much longer.

Many don't give Lopez a chance against Gamboa.

he looked good to me, typical lopez fight tons of power shots and eventually broke down his opponent.

I would say that the Juanma of tonight against the Gamboa of tonight would have got rocked, rocked, and rocked again. Juanma looked positively slow in there compared to Gamboa.

Thats because his only chance is a lucky punch. Hes too slow to hit Gamboa with anything good, and neither his chin nor his defense are good enough to protect him from Gamboa's counter-punching, and leading.

NSB never fails to overrate..write off..and discredit after a couple fights where fighters either lose or face adversity..that's why this site SUCKS but the comedy of most of the people who do this is addicting!!..

Kellerman said it best.."Lopez didn't look as impressive as Gamboa..but comparing opponents..Lopez had the better win"..

Gamboa was just an overrated hypejob 3 fights ago when he was getting tagged and dropped by no named ass journeymen and bums..now he's the second coming of RJJr??!..

Now I'm not sayin Gamboa doesn't have the talent or potential..I just find it amazing how people jump ship so quickly and either hop on or right the fuck off the bandwagon after only a couple performances..

It's a shame to consider half of you boxing fans..those who look at Lopez' KO ratio feel that he should KO every opponent in the 1st with a jab!..he's got heart and skill to go along with that power..so because he doesn't KO them early doesn't mean his best years are gone..most of you go off the notion that "styles make fights" most of you swear by it even..but when it comes down to it..you wanna claim one is overrated or the next Ali depending on what bandwagon you guys feel like hopping on..I knew this was coming after I saw Mtagwa-Gamboa where I was very impressed..but remember who Mtawga is before claiming he's already an ATG..he's a journeyman..period!..fuck it..I'm out!

Ts I'm not sure what you mean? JuanMa looked great. He took his time. He broke down and stopped a champion who has never been stopped.

                      This thread is insane.

Juanma destroyed Luevano. That was a severe beating.

                      And the stoppage was perfect.
