Oh, no doubt. The four horsemen handled their business without prejudice.

Your statement demonstrates that you don't know Floyds boxing history. Because up to the point when he decided to get crazy paid, he took one risky fight after another without blinking an eye.

Here's a thought .... why was Floyd soo highly regarded as one of the very best in the world. You don't get titles like that by not taking risks. I will admit that since the Gatti fight Floyd has been more money than legacy, but then again boxing is a business and at some point fighter's want to get good paydays.

Floyd gets bashed by those who do not know anything about him, except for the rumors spread by 7th graders on the www. Hardcore fans who have been following boxing for some time will tell you the real deal.

Had you have put "Overly Cautious Businessman" as an option I would have chosen that one.

I don't believe he's a coward. I believe he would step up against the best if (from the business end) it's the better option at the time.
And that the whole thing in a nutshell. These johnny-come-latelys don't realize that Floyd is near the end of a long career. And now is after retirement money every time he fights.

You read time after time guys state that this one or that one, deserves a good payday because they're at the end of their career.

Well why doesn't this understanding apply to Floyd???

Floyd has been in the trenches for years fighting those who were the best at the time. 1996 to 2010 is how many years in boxing ?????? I don't blame him one bit for going after the money now ..... he's almost at the end of his career. And WW is where the money is right now. So, he's at WW looking for the fights that will bring him the most money.

        ****************

And don't nobody bring up that Margarito noise {ARUM} Cotto {ARUM} ... Don't bring up any of {ARUM} fighter's as potential opponents .... because that would surely prove that you don't know **** about whats going on.

Boxers are athletes not warriors...skill and athleticism counts more than how much blood you can take out of you...otherwise boxing would be on some wwe or ufc hype...the beauty of the sport is the preperation, game plan, and skill that you bring to each fight...I'm tired of all this "warrior" crap...boxing is special because you see true athletes with perfect conditioning in a combat of disciplin and strategy...if you watch it to see a man take a beating or to see blood then you dont appreciate the fundamentals of the sport...

You won't find many who criticize Floyd pre-Gatti .... and that's my point. From the Gatti fight on {Bad Boy image, I'm about getting crazy paid}.

Corralles and Castillo were just two popular names on his resume or the names most mentioned by those who don't know Floyds history ..... Get it!!!!!!!

I have always found a lot of them boxing "experts" to be idiots who are just glorified armchair critics. Most of them have no real boxing experience and just talk **** during a fight. Steward is the only one on HBO who ever says insightful things about how the fight is going ( because he knows his **** as a trainer) , the others just use buzzwords like "Fighter A is controlling the fight" when he has the guy half conscious on the ropes.

Like remember the HBO team during Mayweather-DLH? They were slobbering all over Oscar's nuts while he was getting tatooed and outboxed. Merchant even complained about Floyd throwing "No punches" a second after Floyd reeled off an accurate 3 or 4 punch combo.

Bit off topic, but just saying.
