He has 16 pro fights, FFS. Idk what people want out of him right now. He's still gonna dust Mtagwa off, easily.

Just because one guy is hyped doesn't mean the other guy should be over-hyped too.

Mtagwa is a live dog, he is supposed to lose but could pull off an upset which is what it would be.

Gamboa has been down before by lesser hitters, so I expect him to loose on canvas!

^ That's about what I think, too. Will Gamboa get careless enough? Could happen...

Gamboa has shown more patience in his last 3 or so fights than previously. He will be cautious for the first couple of rds but once he opens up, his straight shots will be picking Mtagwa's face to pieces. If the fight goes the distance, which it may because of Rogers' toughness, Gamboa dominates. Otherwise, I see him hurting Mtagwa late around the 10th

I can't see Gamboa losing this one. Mtagwa although tough, will be eating too many punches and will eventually go down.

If Gamboa stops a guy like Mtagwa, that is a BIG statement.

Yeah, he's been beating guys with questionable records and then losing to guys who had any sort of skill. Great, hard work.

I really think Mtagwa is being overrated.
Yes he has been working hard for years, do you have any idea how much determiantion it would have taken on his part to keep perservering after all those losses, to fight Juanma and nearly take him out?

No one is calling him a great boxer, he isn't but he has a good punch and oodles of heart, I would like to see him win.

I think Gamboa might sit back and box him, but get careless after he hurts Mtagwa. Mtagwa is a dangerous guy when he is hurt.

So some people here are thinking Gamboa has a bit more power than Lopez?? Gamboa isnt going to KO Mtagwa thats for sure, and Gamboa isnt the type of hitter like Juanma is, but still has some ! but nothing to prevent his L tonight
