I never understand the hate for Mayweather when it comes to his style. Why do you care?

For example, I dislike Bernard Hopkins' style. I admit he's great, but I never watch his fights because they are always boring. The thing is, I never go around talking **** about Hopkins and telling his fans that he is a bore because I don't care.

Says the one behind their computer screen who wouldn't dare go 12 rounds with Floyd with no head gear

That's what I am hoping. What is Shanes ringweight? This version of Floyd looks to come to the ring at like 155.

I wouldn't say he "beats" them.

He does just enough to win on points. And you're surprised that MOST people don't like his fights?

The guys a total disappointment. Why do you think he acts like an ******* on camera?

Its to compensate for the lack of entertainment value in the ring.

          Thats pure Freud right there.
No it isn't. Picking off punches like Floyd does is never easy.

And yes he beats his opponents, this isn't the 1930's where you have to be the aggressor to win, boxing has changed, Floyd uses accurate punching and tight defence to convincing win every one of his fights except for JLC 1, which could have gone either way.

This the right stance. People take **** way too personally here. Don't like, don't watch, or at least stream so you don't pay to watch.

Exactly....seemed pretty obvious to me. Mayweather seems to have some of the biggest whingers for fans.

This why people who have never boxed ( and no I don't mean trained for like a month) often have no clue about some aspects of the sport. It takes so much more ability and skill to outclass an opponent than it does to lumber forward and knock them out.

What did people want Floyd to do against Baldomir? Baldomir stepped into the ring like 15lbs heavier than Floyd, trying to trade with him would have been idiotic.

Oscar was a legit 154lber who layed out guys like Mayorga and Vargas, Floyd needed to box against him, but still at times he stood his ground and threw punches with Oscar.

Really, every fighter deserves criticism to an extent, but alot of the **** Floyd cops on here is unwarranted and mostly comes from guys who don't know much, and just here phrases like "floyd needs to fight a real WW" and repeat them mindlessly.

Against Marquez, WTF good would it have been to end his tuneup fight after a 2 year layoff in the 2nd after he dropped JMM. That would have defeated the purpose of the fight, he needed rounds in the bank to put him in position to fight Shane or Manny.

The racist haters always get quiet when you ask this question. Or they try to discredit Floyd's opponents. Great fighters like JMM, Hatton, Oscar, Castillo, Gatti, Diego, etc; Hell even Judah & Baldomir held the real WW title.
