Marcos Maidana vs Amir Khan

I would like Amir Khan fight 2 more fighters before facing Maidana to gain more ring experience and to develop his body for more strength and speed through training and conditioning. And for Roach to gather more info on how Maidana fights and his bad habits to exploit.

IDK, it could be a Cotto type thing as to where he's been severly weight drained and now can take a much better punch. I also think his confidence is through the roof right now with his recent wins, being trained by Roach, and sparring with Pac. I would pick him over Maidena. I mean, its not like he just blew through Ortiz. His ass was getting rocked too but I cut him some slack since Victor is a Southpaw

who would win and how?

my prediction is a first round KO by maidana.

he is going to surprise khan right from the opening bell, just like he surprised victor ortiz in the last round of their fight.

it could happen if khan fights ****** again but i cant see that happening,khan uses his jab and catches marcos on th way in,khan stoppes him late in the fight,marcos has great power but he not that good of a boxer,hes flat footed and swings alot,i watched him against koltenik and ortiz and didnt think too much of him

Khan is far more skilled than Ortiz, and has a better defence now. Since teaming up with Roach, Khan is turning into a complete fighter. Ortiz still looks scrappy and wide open. Also, Khan and Ortiz have similar KO ratios. Maybe Ortiz still hits a little bit harder but Khan's power has improved under Roach and will continue to do so. There is still a lot of mass he can put onto his slim frame.

I believe Khan will KO Maidana before 6. His speed is going to be way too much, the likes of which Maidana has never faced before. However if Khan tries to trade or lets his defence down too often, Maidana could send him too sleep. A great fight, but Khan will win.

I felt good after seeing how marcos beat the breaks off of ortiz cuz I didnt think much of him anyways, khan is a bit more seasoned, but theres a reason why freddie roach wants him to vacate that title, I dont think khan can relly hurt MM and he mite catch a fade

Maidana has a questionable chin too, and no real skills. Khan waxes him inside 8.

Khan has power and lightning speed. Maidana would have no answer for Khan's speed and will get dropped from lightning combos. Khan's got a great jab too and also the height advantage and a slight reach advantage.

Khan's defense has improved and his punch resistance since he moved up from 135.

Khan by TKO rounds 6-8. Cuts may come into it too.
