LOL! So true. Before the fight when asked how they feel they say" I feel great, I feel strong, I'm ready to fight". And after the fight when they lose They tend to say something like "I'm not making any excuses, and not take anything away from my opponent BUT I wasn't 100% tonight". It's one thing when they say but it's even dumber when their fans don't know any better and make the excuses for them.

And another thing. I thought weight drained fighters fade in fights. If I recall didn't Mr Weight Drained Adamek rally in the last 2 rounds. Yeah that makes sense(sarcasm).

you could see he was so much better when fighting the likes of past it golota and some featherfisted slow ripped beast like cunningham
You don't seriously think Dawson could beat Cunningham, do you?

Even the commentators in the 2nd Briggs fight talked about on how much noticably bigger he looked from the 1st one. It had been a long time coming and the Dawson fight was right after the 2nd Briggs fight.

He's naturally 200lbs which most poeople like you said was b.s. at first although it's proven true by his CW fights. Yeah 25 lbs isn't a big deal.

                2nd

And Cunningham may not be a huge puncher at LHW but he sure as hell hits harder than Dawson.

Why? Because Cunningham would be weight drained? Zing.

Getting knocked on your A$$ has the effect on a fighter.

Look, to me if you fight in a weight class by choice then you have forgone any claim to making an excuse about being weight drained or feeling too heavy for that matter. I don't think anyone's holding a gun to their heads when they sign to fight at these weights. So it's simply an excuse. And we can argue all day about whether it's a valid or legit excuse, but admit that it is exactly that.
