The commentators rip on Floyd in that match too. I think this was also the fight where Charles Barkley and Tiger Woods left before the 9th round started because they felt the match was boring.

So I assume you also caught the pre-fight talks and discussion about the fight. Everyone was saying how this is Floyd's first true welterweight fight against a big guy, that he might have trouble, even more-so without his trainer, etc.

It turned out he clowned the guy.

Don't get me wrong, It may not have been the most high action-packed fight; which Floyd even admitted, but it doesn't change the fact that Floyd put on a boxing clinic.

winky wright started ripping on floyd from the audience and he left too.

floyd was fighting at the same pace that larry merchant was speaking, lol.

I remember that fight.

He was whupping Baldomir real real bad until he broke his right hand again. Watch the first 4 or 5 rounds again.

But then again thats Floyd he brakes his hands easily and then he has to be careful to get a career ending injury. So he stopped using it.
