Im not a big Shields fan but Im not a fan of Rocky's either. I dont think the trainer is his problem. He just doesnt have a high gear that that the other great fighters have

I know what you're trying to say but, like I said, compare the Rocky that fought Barrera the 1st time to the current Rocky. Ray is the one guy that brings out the aggressiveness out of Rocky. He has more to offer than Shields does.

it's not that he doesn't have a high gear it's just that he tries to be perfect whenever he throws a punch and drops so many early rounds that he has to play catch up and it ends up being too little too late. I think he's one of those fighters that does have an extra gear they can reach late in the fight.
