That's no secret though, Lampley loves Trinidad, Oscar, and Cotto. In Boxing, it's tough to be 100% objective because at the end of the day they're fans of the sport too (commentators). I remember seeing him tear up when Cotto got beat by Margarito. Merchant's been kinda like that with Pacquiao though as well as Pac was coming up. It's not an oddity. You're telling me you've never heard NBA commentators nut themselves over Wade, Lebron or Kobe??

I hate listening to Lamply when Barerra and Cotto are fighting. When margarito had Cotto on the ropes and landed like 6 uppercuts he said nothing, but a few seconds later Cotto lands a good right, and then he screams "tremendous shots by Cotto". He needs to chill.
