Thank you but I'm just one of the many here. There's a lot of good posters here that more than compensate for the bad ones. I learn a lot myself about today's fighters by visiting these forums, it keeps me interested in the sport and looking forward to the future. Knowing some history is a great thing but it wouldn't matter if you didn't care about the present. Forums such as this keep boxing "alive" for me.Comment

Lol, If you're from Europe and you do not conform to Tunney's stereotype of loving all european/white fighters then you're racist.

I agree about caring about the present. But if there is one thing that most people lack on here is the history of the sport. Which IMO makes you a huge asset. The history of the sport is what set the foundation for the fighters that perform for us today.Thank you but I'm just one of the many here. A lot of the styles and work ethics of todays fighters come from the fighters that fought back 40-50 years+ ago... So I think it's important to learn about present and history together. So people can get a grasp on where this style came from, or why it's so hard to crack the top 20 all time.
People who like to just take their present fighter and boost them to top 10 so easily, just don't know what these fighters accomplished in the past.Comment
