Leonard Ellerbe: "THIS IS A FIGHT FLOYD HAS WANTED FOR OVER 10 YEARS"
"Obviously we're looking at a couple dates in early May and it's a breath of fresh air. We're having good conversations with Richard and Judd Burstein...This is a fight the fans have been clamoring for over 10 years and definitely a fight Floyd has wanted for over 10 years," stated Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, as he talked about the current status of negotations for a megafight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley. Ellerbe informed FightHype.com that although the proposed bout has yet to be finalized, negotiations are going smoothly.

I agree, people need to stop acting like Floyd has been ducking Shane for a decade. When it's really both their faults it took this long to make the fight happen.Comment

I knw, Shane passed up on the opportunity to fight Mayweather twice, but Mayweather just makes himself look like a dumass when he says stuff like:
"Shane who? Shane Mosley with 5 losses? Marquez got a country behind his back, Shane got none."
and then says hes been wanting to fight him for a decade...Comment
