"the game can also take back..." -BUTRO

I just watched the vid of burto meeting with shane and max kellerman. Do you think burto raised a good point. He said that Shane has gained from the game but the game can also take back. To be honest he is 38 years old in a div that he should have ruled back in his early 30's. He's in a div that has evolved, the work rate is crazy high allot faster and more powerful.

Shane is 38 and wants to fight FLOYD, PAC, and BERTO

I am a Shane fan but considering how old he is... and how stiff the competition is, do you think he could ever make it back to #1

He still hasn't figured out how to break down a jab... ala losses to forrest and winky, cotto...

    thoughts?

That was my favorite line through the whole thing. Hope to see Berto back soon.

It'll come down to how much Shane has really learned from beating Margarito, which he looked spectacular against. But he's been away from the ring for a good while now.

Floyd hasn't really gotten all that much work in since he returned, so it evens out the playing field somewhat.

It may be five years too late, but it's finally happening late in both of their careers which should make it more exciting due to the experience and wisdom they've gained in big fights.

Berto would serve as a challenge to both due to his youth.

All you can go by is what you saw in the last fight and in his last fight he was a monster. I say this to people all the time. In all of Pro sports now, the athelets are going at a high level for much longer. Its not like it was back in the day. You can be 38 in nearly ever sport now and still play at a very high level.

IDK if I agree with the TS about the jab and stuff. Remember, he didnt have Naz back then. Mosley's dad is just that. Mosley's dad. He ****** and the other guy Shane had ******. ****m is a real trainer. I honestly wouldnt have been shocked if Margarito beat Shane with his dad training him but I also think that Shane wouldve beat Cotto with ****m training him. Shane is not done by any stretch and him losing maybe still doesnt mean that he's old. Maybe it means that Floyd & Pac are just 2 legends that pretty much everyone would lose to
