Is Tim Bradley overrated on boxingscene??

First of all I want to say I'm a fan of Bradley. I listed him as one of my top 5 fav fighters at the moment. He had a great 2009. I've said time and time again that I think he can be the future face of boxing....buuuuut, it seems like ever since his win over Peterson people have been overrating the **** out of him. He's in a very talented and stacked division. People were saying he should move up and fight Mayweather and that it wouldn't be a problem because he's fought at ww. The kid hasn't even come close to cleaning out 140 and people want him to step in with Mayweather?? Is it me or are people giving him too much credit for his UD over Lamont Peterson?

I like Bradley but he gets slightly overrated everywhere. He's a good solid fighter who does everything very well, nothing spectacular though.

I said he was over rated until he dismantled and dominated Peterson. Peterson is a great boxer that was completely taken out of his game plan by Bradley.

Bradley is not an elite fighter but he is something special. He has that IT. The IT that you can't teach that comes from within.

No he's not over-rated.. he's a force to be reckoned with in the 140 division.. he has the skills to clear out that whole division.. i see him being able to make a move up to 147 in a couple years but i dont see him being able to keep up with mayweather IMO..

Tim is the most complete fighter since Mayweather in my opinion However, Bradley still has a bit to go. He may be a bit overrated for right now. I'll say two more wins and he deserves all the praises he's getting now plus more.

i duno man,i can see all the hype

he is the real deal, skilled, tough and very entertaining unlike the other young american fighters around,i think thats the key,the fact thats hes great too watch

he couldnt beat mayweather and personally think he would struggle at 147 due to his height

im a huge fan of the guy-hes a throwback to the old school.dedicated, always wants to fight the best, tons of heart,i got lots of respect for the guy

Him being in any serious discussion on here in a hypothetical against any top WW is overrating him but at the present I do think he is the best at 140 and looks better every time I see him.

A little. He is the clear best at 140, but he is not quite at the P4P level some people are ready to place him in. The reason he is getting overrated after the Peterson win is because Peterson was supposed to be someone who perfectly countered Bradley's style and Bradley instead showed he has very underrated all around skills.

What would those two fights be? Khan and Hatton? Maybe JMM? Those would be super solid wins that could take him to that elite status.
