I remember getting these two together for this photo op...

Had a feeling they'd be fighting each other one day. Who's watching this weekend?

I took this the night before the Dream Match, 5 Dec 08:

At the final presser before their fight this Saturday (BoxingScene):
The appear to have a different look on their face now...

I see Juanma's power maybe being too much for Luevano. I don't like the way he reacted to that Concepcion shot (after the bell). But you never know, Juanma has gassed before in the late rounds and Luevano hung in there hard with Santiago and was winning the Concepcion fight. If Luevano fights the right fight, he could win (but since they're in NY, if it's close, Juanma gets the nod).

Mtagwa had good stamina and a good chin. But Gamboa is more explosive than Juanma. I think Gamboa may have a better chance to hurt Matgawa than Juanma did. I like Gamboa by late round late corner or ref stoppage, too much speed for Matgawa. Matgawa only looked good against Juanma, cuz Juanma was trying to stop him and gassed. Gamboa will hit this dude with blistering combos all night. But again, Gamboa is a risk taker and I'm just waiting for that moment that someone catches him clean in the exchanges.

Yes, in the Juanma-Mtawga fight, Juanma did tire alot towards the end of the fight. I agree with you about gamboa, he needs to slow his combos down, because soone or later he will get caught will a clean punch.

It promises to be a great night of boxing, willyou be attending the fight?

Nah man, I'm too far away... Should be a good night, think I'm gonna buy it... it's PPV right? How you see Manny vs Clottey going? I think it's a more dangerous fight for Manny than most are thinking. Sometimes a great chin overcomes a good puncher especially with such a size difference. Clottey can come into the fight weighing as much as 170lbs, like in the Chico fight (RIP).
