Could The Pac-Clottey Negotiaions Hurt Floyd-Mosley?

All along I keep saying that there is no way Shane is getting more than 35%. Seriously, how can people think Shane will get 60/40 when Floyd is by far the draw, just did 1mil PPV's with JMM while Shane was about to fight Berto on regular HBO, and Floyd is the #1 or 1b ranked fighter in the world? You could say that Mosley is the #1 WW but we all know that doesnt override the P4P list and you could say that he's only the #1 WW because Floyd retired anyways. I think people truly need to realize that Floyd & Pac are on that Oscar level now wether people want to admit it or not. There is not one single fighter out there who is getting 40% with those 2.

Shane is desperate. People can say what they want about Floyd needing to save face or that he has to fight Shane or whatever but you know Floyd aint hearing that **** over money. If Shane talks 40 then Floyd is walking. Shane taking 33-35% still makes atleast 8mil which is way more than he's use to making. Say what you want about who Floyd will fight but he's going to do good numbers with anyone and could take a huge cut with anyone. For Shane to make money he is going to have to fight a stud. What will he do? Turn down 8mil from Floyd to take 2mil against Williams? No way. He's getting 33 or 35%. People think Im crazy when I say that but its fact.

I think Shane would definitely accept that normally, however there is now 1 smaller problem and 1 big problem with that. 1st is that Shane would be a little upset because he is actually a partner with GBP and would think that they would do right by him in giving him more money. I think thats the hold up now but the fact is Floyd is seperate from GBP and he doesnt care about giving Shane more money, e****ally with the hatred he now has toward him. The big problem is that seemingly Arum & Pac have straight ***** slapped Clottey. 1mil? People joke and say 90/10 but that **** almost seems like 95/5 or more. Floyd will see that and think that Shane doesnt deserve all he's getting if Clottey is only getting that much.

GBP will try to look out for Shane but Floyd will say that Clottey is also Top Rank and they still gave Pac all that. That may be the best thing though because I think that will then make Shane very happy to accept the 30-35 knowing that Floyd wouldve maybe pulled out or wanted more after he saw what Pac is getting. **** may drop down to 30% for Shane though after Floyd see's that. Anything more than 35 is totally out the question though

    Nice Article.

I think that Floyd deserves the bigger piece of the pie as he would say lol. Id say a fair split would be 60-40 in floyds favour. However Shane is the champion, he does hold the WBA welterweight belt, and he is of course a GBP partner. This may cuase problems during negotiating but I think mosley will just be gratefulof the fight happening, and accept the 60-40.

    Prediction for the fight:

    Mayweather wins by UD

Naw I don't think is going to hurt at all... Floyd will not fuck this up... he has no where else to go... He really does not have as much as options as some people think he does. And, he knows it as well.

I totally agree with that 100% but I just disagree with people thinking that Mosley can use that as leverage. Even with no options, he'll take a crappy one over letting Mosley getting more than he should. Plus I think Floyd believes deep down that Mosley will bite as long as its not too crazy. He may act like he wont but when Floyd starts to walk away then he will bite because he has nothing close to Floyd out there in terms of money. Floyd knew that Pac wouldnt bite because he's on that same level but Shane needs this money and he gets the fame & ranking all on top of it. I think they are close though and it wil get done soon enough. Floyd hearing that 1mil **** for Clottey though isnt helping at all

If the fight doesnt happen in March or May, then its clearly a duck move from Floyd. No excuse that this fight won't happen unless its an injury or emergency matter.

I don't think Shane will use that leverage to get more money. I think Shane knows that 30-35% for him to be OK. Especially if it does a milli plus PPV buys... That is still awesome money for him...

I think this is more like a Hagler-Leonard negotiations. Where Hagler wanted more money and Leonard had no problem giving it to him. As long as Leonard got 12 rounds and a bigger ring. This might be IMO what I think Shane might be doing not caring about the split but using the leverage that he does have in getting 8oz gloves. Because, Shane does has some leverage right now. And, he has a better chance to win with 8oz gloves... And, take less money get the victory and fight Pac later in the year for even more money... I think that is what Shane wants... but, again that is my opinion. It just speculation right now...
