Hatton has always been a joke of a fighter, I don't mind seeing his ***** ass get KO'd one more time if it has the benefit of getting JMM more money or Bradley or Witter, are any fighter that deserves a payday.
Warren : "Hatton As Fat As a House"

I do agree that I don't understand why Warren has to hate on fighters that have left him, but in this case he is right. I really don't think Hatton should be fighting again, I know he only lost to the top 2 p4p fighters, but his yo-yo weight combined with the 2 knock out losses and all the shots he has taken through his career cannot be good for him, and it'll be a serious risk to his health. He should just concentrate on his promoting.there are conflicting reports. He's probably going to fight Urango so it'll probably be at 140.
What's the point of Warren saying all this? why does he have to hate on fighters?
right or wrong, let's not pretend he's saying this for the good of Ricky Hatton, he and Hatton have history, he's trying to ruin the financial potential of a Hatton comeback
He also says Hatton hasn't done any training for 12 months, the Pac fight was only 6 months ago.
Hatton will beat Urango and be champion again, then what's Warren going to say? oh he's too fat?Comment

It doesn't matter whether he's right or wrong, he's not saying it for the right reasons and doesn't need to say it at all.I do agree that I don't understand why Warren has to hate on fighters that have left him, but in this case he is right. As for whether Hatton continues, that's down to one man and he's old enough to make his own decisions. He's consulted with those closest to him i.e. his family and decided to give it another go. All these people are really doing is making it more likely that he'll fight again because he'll fight again (and probably win v Urango) just to prove them wrong.
My only hope is that he if/when he beats Urango he doesn't get suckered into another fight with Mayweather at 147. He should fight JMM at 144 if he beats Urango and call it a day.Comment

The first bit is true, but I don't know the circumstances under it, he may have been asked a question so he answered it. But he is bitter for people leaving him, you would at least think he'd want them to do well on a personal level. It doesn't matter whether he's right or wrong, he's not saying it for the right reasons and doesn't need to say it at all.

And I know it's up to Hatton to decide, I think he could come back and do well if he fought at 140, he could be back near the top of the division, probably be able to get a title. But it's more about his health I'm concerned about, I like Hatton, he's a funny man, and it wouldn't be cool to see him have health problems due to boxing on when he doesn't need to. That's my opinion on the situation anyway.
Are you wanting to see him return to the ring?Comment

Tszyu hasn't fought in nearly five years, and I know at this point that he's in better shape than Little (well no longer) Ricky. Perhaps Tszyu is a more compatible opponent for Hatton now than others?Comment

Thers no way that Hatton-Mayweather 2 is happening. I think hatton desperatley wanst the rematch with floyd but it aint gunna happen. As for hatton fighting marquez, thats a good matchup, id like to see that fight at 140lbs. We all saw wha marquez was like at 144lbs against mayweather. It doesn't matter whether he's right or wrong, he's not saying it for the right reasons and doesn't need to say it at all.

He fought bitter legal disputes with Calzaghe and Hatton which I imagine weren't cheap, I doubt he wants them to do well, even on a personal level. He won't be sending Khan his best wishes either I wouldn't imagine.
I support whatever decision the fighter makes, if had decided to retire I'd have been cool with it, now he's decided to fight again I can understand that decision too. I don't think he intends fighting on much longer, but he didn't want to go out on a 2 round loss. And I know it's up to Hatton to decide, I think he could come back and do well if he fought at 140, he could be back near the top of the division, probably be able to get a title. Mayweather was talking like he'd fight him again, Hatton is big money remember. I hope it doesn't happen (unless it's at 140).Thers no way that Hatton-Mayweather 2 is happening. Yeah, I'm just waiting to see what he comes out with about Khan. It's only a matter of time before it begins, unless he's started it already. He fought bitter legal disputes with Calzaghe and Hatton which I imagine weren't cheap, I doubt he wants them to do well, even on a personal level. And that's cool, I understand that he wants to come back as you wouldn't people's last thoughts of your boxing career to be of being KO'd in 2, so I understand that. I think if he's serious about coming back, it should just be more of a farewell fight in Manchester, where he can look good, put on a good display for the fans, and then retire on a high note. We'll just have to see how serious he is about the come back and how long he'll want to fight for. Hopefully only 2 fights MAX.Comment

Damn Hatton looks hefty on that vid, this is bad news man, Hatton should just retire and spend the rest of life doing what he loves; eating and drinking.Comment
