Do you think it only takes a day or two to negotiate a fight? Manny Pacquiao started negotiating other fights about four weeks before the Mayweather fight imploded. That's why he was able to lock in an opponent so quickly. Mayweather was still focusing on Pacquiao.

If Mayweather-Mosley doesn't happen then you can talk all you want, but for all we know this fight could be finalized over the weekend or early next week.

Golden Boy is a little different than Top Rank. Whereas Top Rank likes to send out a million press releases talking about a deal is "close" then "all but done" then "inching toward completion" then "agreed to by one party" then "now agreed to by both parties" then "all but signed" and then finally "officially done." Golden Boy doesn't do that. They announce when the deal is done. So, just calm down and wait until it's either signed or not. If it gets signed you're have pissed your pants for no reason and if it's not you'll be right. (In which case, congratulations get yourself a damn bag of cookies)

Lame...Its not like "hey shane lets go fight" ok says shane then the fight is all ready to go. Contracts are being done, glove size, ring, location ETC.
