Alot of people don't remember this. The Cotto/Pac fight was damn near called off because Cotto didn't want to put his title on the line if the fight was at 145. He said Manny could have either the catchweight or the title fight @ 147. Before Arum smoothed everything over, Mosley stepped up and offered the same split, come down to whatever wait, and put his wba title on the line. Pacquiao didn't even entertain the idea. I wouldn't call it a duck but there was def an open window to fight Mosley and they didn't even consider it....

Shane walks into the ring around 160 lbs, theres no way he could of dried himself out 20 lbs of water safely. The last time Shane weighed fought below ww was back in 1999.

Hatton walks around at 180, and he makes 140.

Yeah, all that was after Cotto was first asked to come down to 142-143.

Cotto then made the counter-offer of 145. They wanted to drain him some more.

instead of Cotto, he should have called out Barrera for a fight at 147

The first time I watched that fight I thought it was a draw, but since rewatching it I had Cotto by 1-2 rounds. Cotto was hurt in that fight especially towards the end, he kept avoiding the exchanges in the final rounds.
