You are calling him over the hill because he is about to fight Mayweather, not because you actually believe it.

      Mosley vs Clottey

I'm already considered over the hill... I say Go Mosley... Sweet as sugar... Clottey might win a few rounds, but would be way outworked. We saw it in the Cotto fight, he doesn't take that extra step the elite fighters take. Mayweather, would still beat both though.

Only thing Clottey has over him is a better jab which woulddn't count much once he starts to fade and keep a low workrate.
          agree with this....

clottey can't beat top fighters, period. he doesn't have the heart.

I don't know about that. What I do know, is he doesn't have THE SKILL.

            That's Duckquiao's favorite opponent... a skill-less one.

                nah....he's definitely got the skill.

he just ain't got that extra "push" to pull out a close fight.....

that little bit extra is what you need in close fights, or when you're hurt, to dig down and do whatever to win the fight.....

clottey's a tough summummabitch, so he can "last" in fights, but to pull out a tough fight? don't think so.

heart, to me anyways, is more than just lasting. it's fighting for a win.

the best fighters don't just wanna be able to say they went the distance, they want to win. haven't seen that from clottey.

he's got the skills. he was beating margarito early, he was beating cotto early. he just ain't have what it took to finish. clottey will always be another "good" fighter, with potential, but never able to get over that hump.

I think he has the skills but he always was a hard luck guy.

He hurt his hand with Margarito and I thought he beat Cotto.

It's not that he didn't push for the win but he always fades late and doesn't throw enough punches.

mosley is past his best bro. hell his best was at 135, or atleast the first DLH fight which is nearly 10 years ago. saying hes past his best doesnt mean hes not still a great fighter or even one of the best today, which he is. over the hill isnt the same thing as washed up which is think u believe he meant.

to answer the thread, mosley beats clottey clearly. shane is a couple of levels above clottey. theres a big diffrence between a good fighter and a great fighter.
