6-8 weeks is a normal camp unless the fighter needs to lose a lot of weight (like Gatti). Normally, a fighter like PBF just needs to get in shape and not trim down as he is fighting close to his natural weight or 150 pounds (I mean street weight). Gatti, on the other hand, walks around near 165 or 170 so he DOES need the long training camps that actually drain you more than they help you since your body gets tired.

As for king at 140, he might not be king of the division, but he is higher P4P than anyone else. I have him 1st and Nard 2nd.

floyds conditioning has never been in question. this thread is useless. a month and a half is more than enough time have you ever seen him look out of shape even when he doesnt have a fight scheduled?

Corley....maybe, ok. But Bruseles??? No way in hell, he is garbage. Not even close to the likes of Dorin or an old Leija.

And Gatti is second only to KT at 140

Floyd is going to have a very easy night with Gatti.

The boxing skills that Gatti has been showing will pale in comparison to Floyd's.
Gatti will be forced to be aggressive....& he won't keep his defense while he tries to get to Floyd.
He'll be hit over & over again by Floyd's right hand. Then he'll be taken out by Floyd's underrated body attack.

          Floyd in 9.

            Gatti #2 at 140???? uhhhh let's see.....

Kostya, Cotto, Floyd, Vivian, Corley, even Urkal, are all more talented than Arturo, and they'd all beat him pretty easily....

remember, the best fighter Gatti has ever beaten at 140 is....Gianluca Branco, yes, THE Gianluca Branco....Dorin and Leija are blown up lightweights and Gatti was 158+ for both fights, and Ward was a glorified club fighter with no defense....

I know Gatti's pretty and all, my wife loves the guy, but he's an average fighter with the right complexion to get the connection

Any top 10 fighter at 140 would obliterate Gatti. Simple reason? They are all boxers and would embarass him....Shall we watch the Manfredy fight?????

Id even favor the slugging Hatton against Gatti myself.

Yeah, I have to agree with people saying about Arturo's skills. He lacks much though he has a punchers chance in this fight. If he gets lucky and hits Floyd with his bombs and I'm sure no matter how slick Floyd is, one has to get through. It just might turn the game around. Other than that, I don't see Gatti winning with boxing skills or using his old defensive skills or he's gonna get painted all night. Like I said before, this will be Gatti's toughest test to date and his fight of his career. Nobody will want to see him continue to beat up on smaller guys if he doesn't win this fight.

PBF would be more recognized if he weren't black. Many people, reporters, fighters, and even trainers, have said that a Latino or other ethinic fighter with Floyd's skills would be more popular than DLH. The problem is, people follow their people (NJ loves Gatti, for example, as do Canadians) and that's why Floyd isn't as popular as, say, Gatti.

That being said, as soon as he mops the floor with Arturo he will gain recognition.

Wait I forgot hes the king at beating his wife, PBF is the man!
He is the king right now, name another fighter in boxing right now that is as talented and skilled as Floyd, plus he is undefeated.
