If by any chance him fighting Marquez or Bradley I assume he'll be fighting at catch weight of 144lbs or 145lbs. But if people demands a 140lbs fight and threatens PPV numbers Arum and Roach can convince him to go down. Like the one that they try to push for a catch weight against Clottey which in the end landed at the WW limit. Manny is not totally unreasonable.

yup! catchweight is not really bad like other people think, it is an agreement fight between fighters with different weight divisions to make it an even match-up. this is how pro boxing works, the bottom line is, how much money will be generated.

Risky fight

Clottey is a very risky fight for Manny but will benefit him in his future fight with Floyd. Manny will have more time to really get used to welterweight. It will make his fight with Floyd more exciting,the fight everyone wants to see!!
