Would this end up being THAT much different from Diaz-Marquez?

If that little chicken**** Khan doesn't face Maidana he better get stripped of the belt immediately for being a coward. GBP are a bunch of wankers as well trying to use Maidana as a stepping stone for Ortiz and now Khan. I hope Khan gets another lesson and KTFO whoever he fights next.

khan doesnt pick his opponents, and he will fight whoever he is told to.

No one is interested in excuses as to why this fight isn't happening.
Bottomline is if Khan ducks Maidana he will be seen as a coward and a glass chinned fraud to the general public.

The only difference is that Roach will make the fight more exciting and a chance of a KO win.
Just cuz 146 pounder showed the way doesn't mean it equates to khan having the same result .last time I checked roach didn't train 146 pounder to the lopsided victory.not even PAC could knock out, so I doubt khan will.don't tell me u trying to compare khan to 146 pounder .

I don't know if I can bring myself to have any resentment toward Khan for doing this? I view JMM as a way better fighter than Marcos Maidana is and he would beat him if he could handle 140 because Maidana is crude. Now if Khan goes after Malinaggi instead of Maidana he'll get ripped from me. But if he goes after a top ten P4P fighter while giving up the belt I won't rip him that much.

It is about risk and reward, so I'll bet the majority of you guys ripping Khan would do the exact same thing. Didn't Dawson vacate his belt to avoid a fight with Tavoris Cloud and instead fight Glen Johnson because it was a higher profile fight? That's no different.

freddie roach is smart. if khan wins this fight then it would make floyds win over marquez look like crap cuz floyds much bigger than khan.

                  smart move

                    Ur gonna be so wrong
                    1. Marquez looked sluggish at this weight, he was out boxed for the first 7 or 8 rounds against Diaz

                    2. Marquez is getting older and a defeat by FMJ aint helped him

                    3. Khan is actually a skilled fast boxer, way better than Juan Diaz who is like a ricky hatton type with no power.

4 Khan is bigger and faster than Marquez, he can jab and move on him all night, make him tired and knock him the F Out!

In fact, Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer told BoxingScene on Monday that he simply postponed the WBA's mandated purse bid for another two weeks to give himself additional time to reach an agreement between Khan and Maidana, who are both under the Golden Boy banner.

The biggest mistake that Khan could make at this point in is career is to get into the ring with Juan Manuel Marquez. Marquez would hand him his ass on a platter and Khan would be ruined the way Fernando Vargas and David Reid were ruined by Felix Trinidad.
