    I sniffed that **** out.
Whats fishy about losing 8 members of your family?

Whts fishy about boxing should be the LAST thing on his mind?

There are serious rumblings circulating through insider circles that Andre Berto has become the second Al Haymon boxer to have been bought out of a fight in the last two weeks. Last week Jermain Taylor formally removed himself from the Super Six Tournament and now Andre Berto, one week removed from the natural disaster in Haiti, is no longer fighting Shane Mosley on January 30. Boxin gtalk spoke with Berto last week when he told us that he planned on returning to the gym two days after the quake and the thought of a postponement was something he was unwilling to accept.

Berto pulling out of a career high payday, heading into his final week of training camp, makes it difficult for me to think Al Haymon would allow his athlete to make such a move without being compensated for it. especially if Berto's bout with Mosley isn't rescheduled because of a potential Mayweather-Mosley fight.

That's where things could get very sticky if Berto's promoter Lou DiBella has a signed contract with any type of rescheduling clause.

Boxingta lk has been dilligently trying to contact Berto since his official statement was released earlier today, thus far we've had no luck. Lou DiBella, Shane Mosley and Richard Schaefer were all unavailble for immediate comment. There will be much more to follow, until then, remember where you heard it first

I wouldnt be suprised. The fight was so close and as I said before why not go out and make the fight for Haiti and donate a portion of the purses...Im sure Shane would have agreed, and collect donations at the gate. Seemed like a good thing to do win or lose.
