Why oh why dear Bob?
Imagine if Bob Arum et.al. exercised a bit more patience in putting together a consolation bout featuring P4P King Manny Pacquiao after the megafight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. was tossed in the trash bin. There were names that floated around -- Yuri Foreman,Paulie Malignaggi,Juan Manuel Marquez then we hear a last-minute meeting in Santa Monica,California with a mediator which we all thought was going to end in a compromise.
Then, boxing shot itself in the foot.
Then Top Rank announces Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey on March 13 in Dallas.
Then Andre Berto pulls out of his fight with Sugar Shane due to the earthquake that hit his homeland.
Then Mosley was available.
Then I wondered.....
If Top Rank waited a while longer, a Pacquiao-Mosley fight would've been inked.
I say this because I can't really foresee Floyd putting pen on paper against Mosley. He was scared then.
And still is.
