Sure, but every athlete at the top of the sport follows the laws and regulations of the governing body they compete under. Kobe and LeBron take the tests the NBA requires them to take. When they compete in the Olympics, they take the tests that are required to compete there. It's not like Kobe says "I won't play against LeBron in the NBA Finals unless he decides to take blood tests before each game."

I agree that the current testing system is flawed, but the system won't get fixed by accusing fighters and using a certain testing protocol for certain fights/fighters. Floyd does have the right idea, but he's not doing the sport a service by antagonizing people (not just Pacquiao, the NSAC as well).

If he sat down and gave an interview articulating his thoughts and educating the public about why blood testing is necessary, he would get a lot of people on his side. And he would also put effective pressure on Pacquiao.

There are some unscheduled testings, one I can think of right off the bat is Albert Pujols. He was getting tired of all the accusations from the press so asked them to test him out of the blue one day. Accusations died down after that.

I see what you are saying about different sanctioning groups and what not, and yes Mayweather could have been more diplomatic, alot more in fact. But is his idea about keeping the sport of boxing clean good? unequivocally, yes! I love the sport, and would hate to see it degraded and mutated to something only chemically altered behemoths can be good at.

As for the NASC testing, its a dinosaur. I don't blame Floyd one bit for not trusting it.

But you can say that for every athlete competing in any sport today for that matter. The only reason people are questioning Manny is not because he won't agree to Nevada's demands, but to Floyd's demands. Imagine if the roles were reversed and Floyd said, "Ahhh F* Off Im not taking tests past this day", do you think Floyd would be looked as su****ious or simply just standing his ground and saying, "You're not the NSAC"?

I also think Ego's did play a huge part in this fight not being made (yet at least), because if you notice they're not making a huge hoopla over Manny's drug tests with the Clottey fight more than them talking about the event itself and it being possibly the biggest hosting venue in the US the sport's seen in quite a long time. Yea, it's Joshua Clottey and he just wants a check, but for someone who supposedly was getting "Bad Press" over the steroid accusations (Pacquiao), nobody seems to really care nor was light shed heavily over Pacquiao's head as he's continuing to fight essentially without the bad press.

Me, I speak both English and Spanish, but speak more fluently in English. If Im being asked a question in Spanish more times than none I understand the question perfectly but it may be a little difficult to give you an articulate answer as if I were telling you in English. Manny wasn't saying anything out of the norm from what he's been saying from my point of view. I think if people look at this interview and automatically think Pacquiao's this guilty guy, they might just have an agenda to hate on Manny because nobody here from what I've seen know about, seen, or have used any PEDs that would lead someone to believe that Manny is on anything. Against Erik Morales, Pacquiao's blood was drawn a day before the weigh in and making 130 was already hard enough to make. He was scheduled to have dinner with Korina Sanchez, but instead went to sleep because he didn't want to go over the 130 mark. Keep in mind, we're talking about SFW here. At WW, Pacquiao is known to come in at 143/144. He can eat/ drink as much as he wants. To not give in to a 14 day cutoff because of what happened against Erik Morales is one of the LAMEST CRAP I've ever heard. Throw that **** out the window!

Acutally it does. He agreed to 24, 30 days as he has always done for blood tests---that is nothing new for him....Pacquiao refused to take 14 days or anywhere near the the days before the fight as his case with Morales incident; hee has repeats this over and over and has not changed his argument..And when you think about it--Pacquiao even decides to take 3 additional blood tests from the norm, which he probably thought was enough for the GBP and USADA, I guess he was wrong.
