No he doesn't. We all saw Oscar pick off alot of Mayweather's shots.

with 8 oz. gloves, Mosley's power will be much more prevalent and significant, so i think its critical for mayweather to make sure he gets him to wear 10 oz gloves....

Shane isn't gonna be in range to land the left hook. The only punch Mayweather has to worry about is Shane's straight/ over hand right and I could easily see Mayweather neutralizing that. Mayweather's defense is ready regardless of which oz of gloves. I'd rather he use 8 oz, IMO he would benefit more from it. As I've said, Shane's power isn't gonna be much of a factor because Shane doesn't have the legs anymore.

All of us know that it is hard to hit PBF that is why the more Mosley needs 8oz gloves to make ever punch count.

no. at 147, 10 oz is standard, but they have an option to use 8oz. if they go up to 154, then 10 oz is the only option. This is an excerpt from the nevada commission's rules on glove size.

Athletes (boxers/kickboxers) weighing-in up to and including 135 pounds must wear 8 oz. gloves in competition, while athletes weighing-in over 135 pounds (junior welterweight class and above) must wear 10 oz. gloves in competition. However, athletes weighing in over 135 but not more than 147 pounds may wear 8 ounce gloves in competition if both athletes agree to do so in writing.
